* War is as much about maneuvering as it is about firepower. Strive
to pin the enemy soldiers with a brigade to their front, and then
annihilate them with fire into their flanks.
* Never underestimate the power of cannons, and rarely (if ever)
leave them exposed. Put them well back from your front lines on a
hill, if available.
* Keep a reserve. One rested regiment can turn the tide in the final
stages of a battle.
