Far cry 3 is one of the most awaited game of the year. The game will be released under Ubisoft banner .The game was orginally planned to set release in September 4 but it got delayed to November 29, 2012.The game is meant to work on High end systems. Farcry 3 is said to happen in a tropical island found on the intersection Indian and pacific ocean.The main of the game is to escape from the island.
Far Cry 3 is an open world FPS or first-person shooter. The game has been developed by Ubisoft Montreal in collaboration with Ubisoft Massive and Ubisoft Reflections. Ubisoft Shanghai also contributed to the game’s development. The game here has been developed for the PS3, however, there are copies for Windows and the Xbox 360 as well. The game released in 2012 and is set on a tropical island situated in between the Indian and Pacific Oceans. The primary objective of the protagonist Jason Brody is to rescue his friends and get off the island before the deranged inhabitants get to him.
Being an open world first-person shooter, the game features role play elements as well. These include experience points, a skill tree and crafting systems. Far Cry 3 features some interesting gameplay options which include certain abilities like being able to shoot opponents behind objects in the crouch mode, this ability is based on the experience level and points of the player. Jason Brody, who is the protagonist can also perform Take downs by performing certain melee attacks from overhead or in crouch mode. Jason Vandenberghe is the narrative director of the game and has described the game as an open world sandbox game.
The tropical island setting seen in this game is very similar to that of the first game in the series. The second game saw the protagonist in the African Savanna. The early game demos painted a very attractive picture of the game by displaying the motion capture characters and facial expressions. The Demo involves Jason in conversation with the leader of the Pirates who take him and his friends captive.
The game has a dedicated single player campaign with a set story about Jason escaping the clutches of the slave trading Pirates and returning to save his friends. The multiplayer also involves a co-op campaign with its own storyline and supports up to four players. The story then revolves around four different players who have come to the island looking for revenge on the man who stole their money.
Jason is a strong character who possess a strong skill set as a combatant and a survival expert. This situational awareness combined with the skills he possesses makes him ideally suited to face the desperate circumstances that he often finds himself in. In the initial stages of the game, Jason is more like a man out of his element with limited knowledge about his surroundings and situations that he is to face. However, as the game progresses, he becomes more and more attuned with his surroundings and this starts to show on his personality.
